One of the intended features of the 8ICML parallel sessions will be the presence of the programme of several sessions in languages other than English. The final number will be dependent on the number of worthwhile papers where the presenter indicates that she or he would prefer to use their first language.

We have, however, a firm commitment from the Japan Medical Library Association to provide Japanese-language sessions. International committee members Mr Naohiko Yamaguchi and Mr Masaaki Tonosaki will be closely involved with ensuring a high-quality programme of Japanese contributions.
