Programme Committee Meets    (See photo below)

Seven members of the International Programme Committee are meeting in London to review the 360 abstracts submitted in response to the ICML Call for Papers. With all the facilities of the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre available for ICML use, it is expected that a large number of papers and posters will be accommodated.

Using the electronic evaluation system developed by programme chair Arne Jakobsson, it has been possible for members of the International Programme Committee to log on to the host computer in Stockholm and conduct a peer review each of the abstracts online. For each title committee members have entered an overall grading and textual comments where appropriate. These have been aggregated by the system and printed out for this week’s meeting to use as the basis for its decisions.

Members of the international programme committee gather at the BMA library to
evaluate the abstratcs submitted in response to the Call For Papers. Pictured
