P22 - The scientific-technical information for administrative decision making: focus in Hospital das Clínicas / UFMG management
The objective of this research is to analyze the use of scientific-technical information at & quot;Hospital das Clínicas da UFMG & quot;, in order to serve as a support to create a program for training in strategic information health search. The search has following questions: “Which profile of Hospital das Clínicas' management; which needs information of manager; which information sources used by them; whether the hospital manager knows, where and how he can find this information in a way to provide the necessary support as far as making strategic decisions. The research strategy were on exploratory study, made through a questionnaire designed for 18 managers at & quot;Hospital das Clínicas/UFMG & quot;, representing 58% of sample. The main results were: The profile found is that the majority of the managers are female, 83% have taken specialization courses, the main object for the hospital management (25%) and medicine (45%); 50% of them have more than 15 years of hands on experience in that institution only. The main activity for them is the Human Resources Dept., Planning, as well as the Financial Area. The need of information is very diverse, from the internal up to the external environmental sources. enphasize the informal sources as & quot; interpersonal communication & quot; and & quot;personal notes & quot;. To become the need of scientific-technical information in decision organization, although your use is limited, as non-familiarization with the health information sources and little time for access them. The & quot;Portal da Saúde” from “Ministério da Saúde” is the best known of all, followed by RIPSA and DATASUS. This founding gave us a better understanding of the scientific-technical information that can help in the best decision making for the Hospital das Clínicas/UFMG, implicating in systematic information support, by products and service directive for management and others professionals. The reach and dissemination of knowledge pass for educational process. This process to involve the University and continued development to this professionals as in search of alternatives to collaborate of quality of the products and services in University Hospital. The aims to involve comprehension the importance of information sources and to value Human Resources’ intellect and the cognition inherent a human and the wealth knowledge, no available but it is secretly in everyone.
