P48 - Technological resources for education/learning in the area of the health: collection of videos of the Library Emília Bustamante of the Joaquim Venâncio Polytechnical School of Health - Oswaldo Cruz Foundation

The National Curriculum for high school aims at a school that privileges the learning considering the abilities, the interdisciplinary studies, the contextualization, the
autonomy of thought and action and the diversity as basic and innovative principles of its curricular organization. In this context, technological resources as the video, need to be explored of a critical and creative form, contributing to become the educative act next to the reality of the students, beyond more dynamic and rich. Based in this principles, and following the modernity of the available audio-visual resources, the Library Emília Bustamante (BEB) made a study of its collection of videos in health and that they are sources of information and supports to the professional education in health, comparing the statistical data of use, and considered the conversion of its quantity, currently in VHS, for DVD, inserting in each media three or six videos that enroll the same subjects. This study it search to propitiate a bigger equi ty in the sharing of
information, begin favoring the educative process, enriching the knowledge and satisfying the information demand of technician-scientific information at the interactivity of the Joaquim Venâncio Polytechnical School of Health (Escola Politécnica de Saúde Joaquim Venâncio) with the too much similar areas in health.
