The management of projects in the area of information and communication in science and technology in health now and then needs efficient monitoring and integration systems with the purpose of determining the operational and strategical adequacy for the reach of the probable results, also providing an intense synergy between the groups involved in the projects in this area. In a system of information on management of projects the well structuralized internal communication configures, in the present time, an important tool in any organization, by being a process by which the information is exchanged by means of common ways (symbols, signals, behavior). This structure provides a reserve of information for the organization that generates knowledge that contributes for a better performance of the groups and processes in the projects.
When there are difficulties in the field of communication inside of the process of management of projects, some problems can occur in the development and reach of the results p lanned for the execution of the project. In a system where the communication is not  organized some omission of information can happen. This information could disclose problems during the works. The lack of it causes difficulty in the sharing of knowledge between the members of the group, difficulty for monitoring the projects for decision making and difficulty in the sharing of ideas, interfering with the reasoning of people who could contribute with interesting suggestions for the success of the project.
Being the Center for Science & Technology Information (CICT), is a Unit of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation , whose mission is & quot;to participate of the formularization of the politics, to develop strategies and to execute action of Information and Communication in the field of Science and Technology in Health in order to identify and take care of the social demands from the SUS and other governmental instituitions”, we want to propose a study on the mechanisms of the Internal Communication in the scope of the CICT, aiming to identify the current scene and consider new alternatives that could make it easier the improvement of the flow of information to speed actions in all segments of the Unit and in the field of the Management of the Projects that are developed in accordance with the institutional mission.
