Policies for the knowledge visibility in Venezuela

It is the actors' of the National System of Science concern, Technology and Innovation (SNCTI) of Venezuela, to take advantage of the resources that in form of agreements and projects of regional reach, they are available for the diffusion of the production of knowledge. The Ministry of Science and Technology, supported in their attributed organisms: Venezuelan foundation of Promotion to the Investigator (FVPI), National Fund of Science, Technology and Innovation (Fonacit) and the National Center of Technologies of Information (CNTI), beginning from 1999 a series of strategies and actions to achieve the continental visibility of the production scientist technological Venezuelan and to share it by means of feedback with the production of Ibero-American countries.
Assisting to the proposals of international organisms as UNESCO and OPS, the Venezuelan state gives continuous support 5 years old to the projects Portal Scielo-Venezuela, CvLAC- Venezuela, BVS-Venezuela, System Latindex and financing to periodic printed publications and in electronic format, with financial resources in form of we lend negotiated before the Interamerican Bank of Development (IDB) and World (BM) Bank.
In this work, the experiences are exposed applied in (to) consolidation of the portal Scielo with 34 titles of magazines, (b) installation and configuration of the technological platform to support CvLAC with 1350 registered curricula of which 700 correspond to specialized investigators and the rest between professionals and employees Venezuelan publics, (c) participation of the Venezuelan magazines in the System Latindex, (d) financial support and of improvement to printed versions of scientific magazines, all this eats product of the politics of visibility of information and of the knowledge.
