This work discusses the patients’ messages in a chronic disease forum board – an Internet tool used to share information, disposed in a different structure from an article based on a text. The qualitative analysis is based on messages posted in a chronic disease forum board, the Brazil Endometriosis Association Forum Board (http://abend.org.br). The methodology of systemic networks is applied for the study: messages have been grouped into categories and a systemic network has been developed, expressing their relations. The network has been built on the web and it permits modification in a distance and collaborative way. The conclusion of the work suggests that there must be more participation of researchers and doctors, posting messages in a chronic disease forum boards and sharing their knowledge with patients who have never been in front of their desk.
