Divulgation of scientific information and technique for outsiders in Dentistry

With the divulgation of progress science, through the means of communication in mass, and through the use of the technologies of information, the health area find mechanisms to dispose to the population basic information related to health. The narrow relationship between the research activities accomplished in the universities or research centers result in the production and in the generation of scientific and technological innovation that it is disseminated among pairs through scientific publications. The formal and academic characters of works published in scientific magazines, or succeed from dissertations and thesis defenses (besides the works presented in events - considered gray literature) restrict the scientific knowledge for the outsider public. The transformation of the academic language for the popular language is essential to turn relevant researches in the health area of a general knowledge. This study intends to identify, in the dentistry area, the Brazilian initiatives in making available scien tific and technical information of health as a public possession turned to the health of outsiders. The main focus of this theme will be the strengthening of partnerships for the construction of this line of information in BVS dentistry.
The research method consists in a bibliographic revision, searching identify institutions that act in this line.
