With the support from the National Ministry of Health (MS), in partnership with BIREME/PAHO/WHO, the Virtual Health Library (BVS) was introduced at the State Secretariat for Health (SESA) as a strategic tool for an easy access on health information. Workshops were designed to promote the access to the BVS. The participating groups are formed with health counselors, health professionals, hospital managers, students and professionals from other areas. The results will be presented enlightening their role on the improvement of the health system by the democratization of health information access acknowledged as a public property and a constitutional right.
