MultiplicaSUS: the history of a continuous education project

Participants:
The paper analises a project inserted in the policies of trainning directed to workers of the Ministry of Health, that has been developing for the last two years as a strategy for developing of a process for continuous education, involving the workers in the construction of the knowledge of their work process. Named MULTIPLICASUS, it rose from the recognition of the need for a discussion and reflection space about The Unified Health System (SUS) among workers of the Ministry of Health, with view on the promotion of the dealienation that was provoked by the fragmentation of the work process in health, due to lack of knowledge, expressed by the workers, on account of the system’s complexity and by the perception of not belonging to SUS - Unified Health System.

The analysis is made under a descriptive analitical focus starting from papers produced for the implementation of the project as well as reports on the experiences of the multipliers and numeric and quality evaluations on the students who have completed the courses.

The main results are expressed in the subjectivity production, in the technical ability production, thought, and of the adequate aquired knowledge of the SUS by those who were part of the project. Adopting problematization as a pedagogic strategy, contextualizing the formation to social, political and technologic basis that support the work process in health, this is a constructing action of the practises for continuing education in health.

We come to the conclusion that this Project generates positive atitudes and feelings as it permits one’s  understanding  of the work and that which is related to one’s development project, that is, qualifies the practice and could make it possible to solve the problems learnt from work or everyday living. With that MULTIPLICASUS has been contributing, not only in forming of subject of their process health workers and of their teaching and learning processes, but also for the building of SUS- Unified Health Sys tem that we aim for.
