Construction of the Electronic Worker Record: integration and participation

Participants:

Telehealth in the Municipal Health Net in Belo Horizonte: the successful experience in the The demand for information in health comes together growing with the challenges gifts in its use.  It is distinguished necessity to evaluate the process of work in health and to make possible the democratization of the knowledge in health.  Currently, the information is intrinsically on to the introduction of technologies, as electronic handbook, systems of
notification of occupational injuries, list of quarrel, etc. This form, the use of the information technologies and communication in the area of the health have made possible the creation of innumerable alternatives for resolution of cases and taking of decision.

In the scope of the Fiocruz, it comes being developed information net that articulates the data of health, work and environment of the set of workers of the institution - the RISTA (Net of Information in Health, Work and Environment).  This objective initiative if to approach more t o the reality of the workers of the Fiocruz, benefiting the landmark of priorities for the responsible management of its human resources and environments of work and community.  The module Electronic Handbook of the Worker has as basic principles the external integration between information systems, interns and, and the participation of the users (professional of health who take care of the workers).

The platform of used programming is Java with the applications based on the architecture in J2EE, in accordance with the line of direction of the National Politics of Information and Computer science in Health.  One another aspect praised for this politics is the necessity of an only repository of data and table inexistence duplicates.

The methodology used for the elaboration of the essential variable for the integral attendance of the workers was the accomplishment of weekly meetings with the involved professionals of health in the assistance with the construction of the algorithm excellent questions for the handbook, specifically related with the work.

An verification important in elapsing of the work was that for the generation of statistical reports and more consistent pointers of health it became necessary to standardize the inserted data set in the system.  The standardization prevents redundancies and inconsistencies of the data, besides propitiating the integration with other systems and data bases.  The standards are divided in categories, are they:  vocabulary, content and
structure, communication and security.  Finally, our bigger challenge is to surpass the spalling of information systems, constructing a system capable to catch heterogeneous data bases.
